Do you deliver?
I can arrange delivery New Zealand wide. However costs will vary significantly depending on the size of the piece and your location. Contact me to discuss options. You may also arrange your own shipping/pick up.
How long does it take you to complete a restoration?
I aim to complete a project within two weeks - however this will depend on current work load and the exact nature of your project. I will discuss this with you before starting
How much does it cost to repaint an item of furniture?
This will depend on the size of the piece, intricacy and amount of restoration and preparation work required. I will assess the job and provide you with an obligation free quote prior to commencing any work.
Can you arrange pick up and delivery of an item I have for you to restore?
Yes, this will be charged additional to your restoration price.
How and when do I pay for a commissioned restoration?
Once I have provided you with a job quote, you will be required to pay a 10% deposit before I start work. The remainder is due on completion. Payment is via New Zealand bank transfer.
Do you treat insect damage?
Yes, if there are still signs of live insects I will treat the entire piece to eliminate the problem. Any wood damage will then be repaired before painting.
Can you repair damaged furniture and/or hardware?
In most cases, yes. We will discuss what your options are on an individual basis.
I am an interior designer/retailer - do you offer trade pricing?
I am happy to discuss trade pricing for bulk or regular orders from retailers or interior designers. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
